Brief Recap of Sakamoto Days Chapter 119:
Kindaka’s breakdown was picked up right where the last chapter left off. It was established that the JAA leader had perished, and Rion saw Uzuki purposefully drop the bottle. Despite the fact that Uzuki wanted to die for Rion, she misread the situation and thought Uzuki was to blame for Kindaka’s passing.
To prevent being abducted by Rion, Nagumo, or Sakamoto in return, Uzuki adopted an aggressive approach. The group had to make a significant choice. Sakamoto and Nagumo remained behind to make sure Konomi and Amo were safe while Rion pursued Uzuki. Rion left Sakamoto with a pack of cigarettes and snatched Nagumo’s gun, confident in her speed, before starting her pursuit.
But when Sakamoto said that it might be the final time he saw her, things took an unexpected turn. Sakamoto and Nagumo discovered themselves at the medical facility where Kindaka had passed away three days later. Rion was still missing, and Yotsumura, who was also present, revealed that there wasn’t enough proof to charge Uzuki with Kindaka’s murder. Medical records, however, showed that Kindaka had died from poisoning.
Yotsumura also questioned Rion’s intentions in light of her disappearance. In any case, he invited Sakamoto and Nagumo to join the Order.
Nagumo informed Sakamoto of Uzuki’s whereabouts a year later. When Sakamoto arrived, she saw Rion’s lifeless body lying on the ground, and Uzuki confessed to killing her.
