The Women’s IPL auctions for the season 2023 have begun at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai at 2 PM IST. In total 5 franchises will wrestle out to put up the strongest team for the inaugural season of the Women’s Indian Premier League or Women’s Premier League (WPL). 409 players from all across the globe will be put under the hammer. 246 Indian players and 163 overseas players, including players from associate nations, have been shortlisted for the Women’s IPL auction.
