Warner and Khawaja were watchful and also copped some blows from the Indian seamers. Khawaja looked solid compared to Warner and the duo put on a 50-run stand.
Shami was brought for a short spell and he removed warner with a beauty in his very first over of the 2nd spell. After that, Labuschagne and Khawaja batted for 44 deliveries and put on 41 runs. Ashwin’s double-wicket over tilted the session towards India.
