Amandeep Kaur hails from the quaint village of Sanghredi in Sangrur, India. She is a permanent resident of Canada and is reputedly the niece of a prominent leader from the Akali Dal party. Some sources even suggest that she worked as an assistant to Sidhu Moose Wala, further cementing their connection.
Engagement and Anticipated Marriage
After a prolonged courtship, Sidhu Moose Wala and Amandeep Kaur became engaged, as per insider reports. The couple had been dating for quite some time before taking this significant step. Initially, their wedding was scheduled for April 2022, but due to the Punjab assembly elections, it was rescheduled to November of the same year. Sidhu Moose Wala’s mother, Charan Kaur, expressed her excitement about the upcoming nuptials in an interview. She shared,
“In the near future, my son Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu will be marrying the love of his life. This is not an arranged marriage. Soon, he will bid farewell to his bachelor days. We are busy preparing for the wedding, which will take place later this year after the elections.”

Amandeep Kaur Sidhu Moosewala Marriage Speculations
Back in 2019, rumors circulated claiming that Sidhu Moose Wala had already tied the knot with an Indian Canadian girl. A photograph went viral on the internet, fueling these speculations as the girl seated beside him was presumed to be his girlfriend or fiancée. However, Sidhu Moose Wala’s mother clarified the situation, asserting that her son was not married. She explained that the viral photo was merely taken during a music album photoshoot, debunking the marriage claims.
Tragic Demise: Sidhu Moose Wala’s Fatal Shooting
On that fateful day of May 29, 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala fell victim to a violent shooting. Unidentified assailants ambushed him in his Thar jeep while he was en route to meet his relatives in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, Punjab. Two other individuals accompanied him during this ill-fated journey, and the attackers unleashed a hail of 30 bullets upon their vehicle.
Unfortunately, Sidhu Moose Wala succumbed to his injuries, while the two others suffered wounds. The Civil Hospital in Mansa received him in critical condition but, sadly, declared him brought dead. Canadian gangster Satinder Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, claimed responsibility for the murder soon after the incident gained widespread attention. Goldy Brar, an associate of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, asserted that his “Punjab Module” (gang) orchestrated the shooting.
Subsequently, the Punjab police confirmed Bishnoi’s involvement in the assassination. Troublingly, the security measures for 424 individuals in Punjab were reduced or revoked shortly before the 38th anniversary of Operation Blue Star in June 2022. Sidhu Moose Wala was among those affected, as the state government downgraded his security from four commandos to two. Regrettably, he was not traveling in the bullet-proof vehicle provided by the government at the time of the incident. Instead, he had two private security guards accompanying him.

The Vicky Middukhera and Sidhu Moose Wala Rivalry
The media has put forth the theory that Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder might be linked to the killing of Vikramjit, also known as Vicky Middukhera. Allegedly, there existed a rivalry between Vicky and Sidhu Moose Wala, culminating in Vicky’s pursuit and fatal shooting in Mohali, Punjab, in August 2021. Following Vicky’s demise, Sidhu Moose Wala’s father filed an FIR at a local police station, claiming that gangsters were threatening his son’s life for extortion purposes. This assertion was corroborated by Punjabi singer Mika Singh.

Investigation of Sidhu Moose Wala’s Murder Case
Responding to the gravity of the situation, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann established a judicial commission chaired by a sitting judge from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to investigate Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder. On the initial day of the inquiry, the police discovered bullet casings from an AN-94 Russian assault rifle and a pistol at the crime scene. Meanwhile, on May 30, 2022, a group of protesters affiliated with the Indian National Congress stormed the residence of Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi. They blamed the Punjab government, under AAP rule, for reducing Sidhu Moose Wala’s security, ultimately holding them accountable for the tragic incident. Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar voiced his concerns during a media interaction, stating,
“The AAP government bears responsibility for the daylight murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. Arvind Kejriwal must answer why Moose Wala’s security cover was withdrawn despite knowing that his life was under threat, as it was known to the intelligence agencies in Punjab.“
