Tekken 8 Fighting:: Bandai Namco Entertainment has taken the wraps off a brand-new trailer showcasing Tekken 8, their latest addition to the realm of fighting games. This exciting revelation was made during the captivating Gamescom Opening Night Live live stream on Tuesday. The highly anticipated Tekken 8 is all set for its grand debut on January 26, 2024. This unveiling also treated fans to a sneak peek of the innovative Arcade Quest, an engaging single-player mode. Not to mention, the trailer also highlighted the inclusion of avatar customization and an influx of new characters.
A staggering roster of 32 characters will grace the game right from the moment of its launch. The excitement doesn’t end there – the journey leading up to this release has been punctuated by closed network testing for different platforms. PlayStation 5 enthusiasts had the opportunity to participate in the testing starting July 21. Xbox Series X|S aficionados and PC gamers via Steam, on the other hand, could join in on the action starting July 28. The noteworthy aspect is that these tests have been designed with cross-play functionality in mind, connecting players across different platforms seamlessly.

For those eager to experience Tekken 8 firsthand, the game has made appearances at select global events, providing enthusiasts with hands-on opportunities. The recent EVO 2023 event, held from August 4 to 6, allowed attendees to dive into the game’s immersive universe and combat mechanics.
Tekken 8 is in active development for a trio of platforms – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
