The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the name of those cities that will host the senior women’s T20 world cup matches in 2023. Additionally, ICC has also released the list of cities that will host the inaugural women’s U19 world cup matches. Both marquee events will take place in South Africa.
The upcoming women’s T20 world cup will see the participation of 10 teams. Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies and host South Africa had already sealed their spots through automatic qualification. The remaining 2 spots were grabbed by Bangladesh and Ireland after a qualifying tournament played in September.
The U19 women’s T20 world cup will be a 16-team event. The list of teams and other details have been mentioned in the following sections.
