The 3rd ODI played between India and Bangladesh was a match where many records and milestones were achieved. Ishan Kishan became the fastest to score an ODI double century after Kohli hit his 44th ODI and 72nd international century. In this process, Ishan broke Chris Gayle’s record who had scored a double century in 138 balls in a 2015 World Cup match. Ishan Kishan made this record at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chottogram.

Ishan now also holds the record for scoring the fastest 150 in an ODI game. He scored his 150 runs in just 103 balls. He surpassed Virender Sehwag during this process who had scored 150 in 112 balls in 2011.

Ishan Kishan also became the youngest player in ODI cricket to score a double century. He is just 24 years old. He is now the 7th batter in world cricket to have an ODI double-century to his name. The other batters include names like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Fakhar Zaman, Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill. Ishan is the 4th Indian batter to reach this landmark.
