What is The Union?
The Union is a powerful group of ten Negators whose purpose is to hunt down and eliminate other Negators and Unidentified Mysterious Animals (UMAs) that pose a threat to humanity. Under the guidance of Shen, a member of the Union, Fuuko and Andy manage to defeat and replace two existing Union members, infiltrating the organization to mend it from within.
In reality, the Union’s ultimate goal is to identify and eliminate the person responsible for the UMAs. This task proves to be challenging. Over time, Shen takes Fuuko under her wing and trains her in Kung-Fu. They also discover that the world undergoes periodic resets, and in the 101st Reset, Fuuko Izumo becomes the leader of the Union.

Undead Unluck Manga Recap – Important Details Before Reading Chapter 163
After successfully completing their mission in space, the Union awaits their flight back home at the Hong Kong International Airport. However, trouble awaits them there. Fuuko is attacked by a hooded figure, whom she defends against. To her surprise, the assailant turns out to be Shen’s younger sister, Mei. Mei tests Fuuko’s competence and realizes that she is more than capable.
Mei pleads with Fuuko to help rescue her brother, Shen. Fuuko’s strong loyalty to Shen leads her to accept the request. Mei explains that Shen is participating in the Tenraisai, a martial arts competition held once every decade to determine the world’s strongest martial artist. Shen’s motive for participating is to defeat Feng.
Feng Kow-Loon, a fellow Negator, is the person who took in Shen and Mei when they were abandoned. Feng possesses the ability Unfade, which prevents him from aging. While he mentored Shen and Mei, his true motive was selfishness. Mei knows that Shen is not powerful enough to defeat Feng and fears that he will be killed in the attempt.
Fuuko decides to join the tournament and quickly gains the upper hand against most of the other participants. Some contestants suspect her of cheating and draw their weapons, leading to a confrontation with Feng. A brief fight ensues between Feng and Fuuko. Feng, who was previously defeated by Fuuko, seeks to settle the score.
However, when other contestants intervene, Feng is forced to back off and allow the tournament to continue as scheduled. Feng asks Fuuko to make it to the end so they can have a final showdown to determine the strongest. Surprisingly, Fuuko reveals that her true opponent is not Feng but Shen. She promises to elevate Shen to a level where he can defeat Feng.
