Media outlets have revealed that Sarath Babu was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad last month due to deteriorating health conditions. According to doctors, his liver, kidney, and lungs have been affected, causing inflammation in his body organs.

Sarath Babu, whose birth name is Sathyam Babu Dixithulu, hails from Amadalavalasa, Andhra Pradesh. He ventured into the Telugu film industry in 1973 and established a prolific career spanning 40 years, appearing in over 200 films. Sarath Babu is best known for his notable performances in movies such as Maro Charithra and Idi Katha Kadu. The latter, directed by K Balachander, proved to be a blockbuster, featuring Sarath Babu alongside Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi.
Initially cast as a leading man, he transitioned to supporting roles in subsequent decades. His most recent appearance was in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, where he portrayed the role of a senior advocate.
